The Great Bicycle Shop was started in 1970 during the first 10 speed bicycle boom.  Under the same owner since 1977, GBS has seen the 10 - speed craze, the beging of BMX, the return of the cruiser bike,  and the invention of the mountain bike in 1981.  Then the Triathlon came from nowhere and the roadbike craze was back.  Through all the times and changes GBS has offered Tallahassee top quality sales and services for all of its biking needs.
